Evernote is my go-to App for lots of things: paperless home-office, vacation planing, remembering stuff I research on the internet. Now Evernote announced the long-awaited jump into task management. Starting to roll out in early access, the new Tasks integration features due dates, reminders, alerts, flags, and more.

Tasks will be officially released later this year, but we’re giving you full access to all features within Tasks right now during a special Early Access period, rolling out to the latest versions of Evernote in the coming weeks. Please note that certain features will be limited to specific Evernote plans when Tasks is officially released.

Evernote admits the feature has been a long time coming, and it got a lot of feedback about supporting task management.

And many more of you have told us you’d contemplate using Evernote for task management if only we had better support for it. For a long time, you’ve had to come up with your own inventive ways to represent your process in Evernote. It’s time for a better way.

This is a second step to improve the Evernote experience after launching the new Home dashboard early this year. If this helps Evernote to survive the ever-growing competition from numerous Notes and more apps need to be seen. I personally would like to see the product to survive.

Turn To-Do Into Done With Tasks
You’ve seen how Evernote helps you capture information. Our latest feature, Tasks, makes that information more actionable to help you be more productive.
