Every year, Apple hands out its Design Award to outstanding apps from the iOS and macOS ecosystem. And in the past it was a duty to take a closer look at the candidates, because of all the little gems you could discover.
Unfortunately, this is no longer the case. Last year I was already somewhat underwhelmed by the list, but this year it seems to be finally over. Maybe I don't understand what Apple wants to achieve, but apps like Marvel Snap don't deserve a mention in my opinion. Also, the categories don't make much sense: Delight and Fun, Interaction, Social Impact. I am disappointed!
